Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.

Cleaning the Aluminum Mesh Filters:

  1. Remove Filters: Locate the handles on the aluminum mesh filters. Gently pull the handle and slide the filter out.
  2. Clean Filters: The filters are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with hot water and a mild detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation.
  3. Reinstall Filters: Slide the clean, dry filters back into their slots until they click into place.

Clean the exterior stainless steel surfaces with a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your range hood, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Fan Not Operating: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the power button has been pressed. Verify circuit breaker is not tripped.
  • Poor Suction: Check if filters are clogged and require cleaning. Ensure ductwork is not obstructed or leaking. For non-ducted models, check if charcoal filters need replacement.
