3. Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts, including the tank, pump assembly, spray wand, hose, and shoulder strap, are present and undamaged.
- Attach Shoulder Strap: If not already attached, connect the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the sprayer tank.
- Connect Hose and Wand: Securely attach the spray hose to the sprayer's outlet and the spray wand to the other end of the hose. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Prepare for Filling: Unscrew the pump assembly from the tank by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Fill the Tank: Pour the desired liquid into the tank, ensuring not to exceed the "Max. 5L" or "1.25GAL" fill line indicated on the side of the tank.

Figure 3: Side view of the sprayer tank, clearly showing the 5-liter and 1.25-gallon maximum fill indicators.
- Secure Pump Assembly: Carefully reinsert the pump assembly into the tank opening and screw it clockwise until it is firmly sealed.
4. Operating Instructions
- Build Pressure: With the pump assembly securely in place, grasp the pump handle and pump it up and down repeatedly. Observe the pressure gauge; continue pumping until the needle enters the green operating range or reaches the desired pressure.
- Test Spray: Point the spray wand away from yourself and others. Press the trigger on the spray handle to initiate spraying.
- Adjust Spray Pattern: The nozzle at the end of the spray wand can be adjusted by twisting it. Turn clockwise for a fine mist and counter-clockwise for a more direct stream.
- Continuous Spray (if applicable): Some models feature a lock-on trigger for continuous spraying. Engage this feature if desired, then disengage when finished.
- Depressurize After Use: Once you have finished spraying, or before refilling or storing, always depressurize the tank. Pull the red pressure release valve (located near the pump handle) upwards until all air has escaped and the pressure gauge reads zero.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer.
- Clean After Each Use: After each use, especially when using chemicals, rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water. Pump clean water through the hose and spray wand to flush out any residue.
- Check Seals and O-rings: Periodically inspect all seals and O-rings for wear or damage. Replace them if necessary to prevent leaks and maintain pressure.
- Lubricate Moving Parts: Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the pump shaft and O-rings to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
- Nozzle Cleaning: If the nozzle becomes clogged, unscrew it and clean it with a soft brush or by rinsing it under running water. Do not use metal objects to clear the nozzle as this may damage it.
- Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure the tank is empty and depressurized before storage.
