1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the GGMM E5 Wireless Speaker. The E5 is a versatile audio device offering multiple connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX, along with integrated Amazon Alexa voice services and multi-room audio capabilities. It features powerful sound with enhanced bass, a long-lasting battery, and a smart USB charging port.

2. Setup

2.1 Powering On and Charging

1. Connect the speaker to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The charging indicator will illuminate.
2. Press and hold the power button (U) on the top panel until the speaker powers on.

2.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi

The GGMM E5 can connect directly to your Wi-Fi network for internet radio and streaming services. For optimal setup, download the GGMM E Series app from your device's app store.

1. Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the speaker.
2. Open the GGMM E Series app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
3. The app will guide you through connecting the E5 to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Once connected, the Wi-Fi indicator on the speaker will glow steadily.

2.3 Connecting via Bluetooth

1. Press the MODE button on the speaker until the Bluetooth indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "GGMM E5" from the list of available devices.
3. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will glow steadily.

2.4 Connecting via AUX

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the back of the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack of your external device.
3. Press the MODE button on the speaker until the AUX indicator light illuminates.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Controls

• Power Button (U): Press and hold to power on/off.
• Volume Knobs (+/-): Rotate to adjust the master volume.
• Bass Knob: Rotate to adjust bass levels.
• Treble Knob: Rotate to adjust treble levels.
• Play/Pause Button (►▮): Press to play or pause audio.
• Mode Button: Press to cycle through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX input modes.
• Favorite Button: Press and hold to save a current streaming station/playlist as a favorite. Press to recall saved favorites (up to 6).

3.2 Amazon Alexa Voice Service

The GGMM E5 integrates Amazon Alexa. Press the dedicated Alexa button on the speaker to activate voice commands. You can ask Alexa to play music, set timers, check the weather, and more.

3.3 Multi-room Music System

If you own multiple GGMM E Series speakers, you can create a multi-room audio system via Wi-Fi using the GGMM E Series app. This allows you to play the same music across all speakers or different music in various rooms. Up to 16 speakers can be connected.

3.4 Smart USB Charging Port

The E5 speaker includes a USB charging port (5V/1A) on the rear panel. This port can be used to charge external devices such as smartphones or tablets, effectively turning your speaker into a portable power bank.

4. Maintenance

• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the speaker. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Power

• Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the speaker and a working power outlet.
• Check if the battery is fully discharged. Charge the speaker for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.

5.2 Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi

• Verify that your Wi-Fi router is operating on a 2.4GHz frequency, as the E5 speaker supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.
• Ensure the speaker is within range of your Wi-Fi router (up to 160 feet).
• Restart your Wi-Fi router and the speaker.
• Confirm that the Wi-Fi password entered in the GGMM E Series app is correct.
• Temporarily disable any MAC filtering on your router or add the speaker's MAC address to the allowed list.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing Issues

• Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing Bluetooth indicator).
• Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and it is within close proximity to the speaker.
• Forget the "GGMM E5" device from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.

5.4 Poor Sound Quality

• Adjust the Bass and Treble knobs on the speaker to optimize sound.
• Ensure the audio source is of good quality.
• If using AUX, check the audio cable for damage and ensure it is fully inserted.
• Reduce the distance between the speaker and your audio source (for Bluetooth/Wi-Fi).
