Setup
Power Supply
The GPZON B26 monitor can be powered by two methods:
- AAA Batteries: Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment located on the back of the device. Ensure correct polarity.
- USB Power: Connect the monitor to a DC 5V 1A USB power source using the provided USB cable.

This image details the power options for the GPZON B26 monitor, showing a micro-USB charging port on the side and the battery compartment on the underside, which accommodates four AAA batteries.
Cuff Application
Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings:
- Ensure your arm is bare. Remove any tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm.
- Sit in a comfortable position with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported.
- Place the cuff on your left upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the center of your arm in line with your middle finger.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. It should be tight enough so that you can barely slide two fingers under the edge.
- Position your arm so the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

This image shows a user correctly applying the blood pressure cuff to their upper arm, demonstrating proper positioning for measurement.
Operating Instructions
Taking a Measurement
The GPZON B26 monitor features a simple one-touch operation:
- Ensure the cuff is correctly applied and you are in a relaxed, seated position.
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Remain still and silent during the measurement. Do not talk or move.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

This image shows a user pressing the START button to begin a blood pressure measurement, highlighting the device's ease of use.
Memory Function
The device can store up to 240 readings for two users (120 readings per user) with date and time stamps. This allows for easy tracking of your blood pressure trends over time.
To access stored readings:
- With the device off, press the MEM button.
- The most recent reading will be displayed first.
- Press the MEM button repeatedly to cycle through previous readings.
- To switch between User A and User B memory, press the SET button when viewing memory records.

This image illustrates the two-user memory function of the GPZON B26 monitor, displaying separate reading histories for 'User A' and 'User B'. The device supports up to 120 records per user, including blood pressure, heart rate, and measurement time.
Arrhythmia Detection
The GPZON B26 monitor is equipped with an arrhythmia detection feature. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement, a special symbol (heart icon with irregular waves) will appear on the display along with your blood pressure readings. If this symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.

This image highlights the arrhythmia detection feature, showing the monitor's display with a heart icon and irregular wave pattern, indicating the detection of an irregular heartbeat during measurement.
Understanding Your Readings
Your blood pressure readings consist of two numbers:
- Systolic Pressure (SYS): The top number, which indicates the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- Diastolic Pressure (DIA): The bottom number, which indicates the pressure in your arteries between beats.
- Pulse Rate (PUL): Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.

This image labels the key elements of the GPZON B26 monitor's display, indicating where systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), pulse rate (PUL), and other indicators like memory and battery status are shown.
The monitor also includes a World Health Organization (WHO) blood pressure classification indicator bar on the left side of the display. This bar visually represents your blood pressure level:
- Green (N): Normal blood pressure.
- Yellow (1): Mild hypertension.
- Orange (2): Moderate hypertension.
- Red (3): Severe hypertension.

This chart visually represents the WHO blood pressure classification, categorizing readings into normal, mild, moderate, and severe hypertension levels, corresponding to the indicator bar on the monitor.
Important Measurement Tips for Accuracy
To ensure the most accurate blood pressure readings, follow these guidelines:
- Do not talk: Measuring while talking can add 10 mmHg to your reading.
- Use the correct cuff size: A cuff that is too small can add 2-10 mmHg. The GPZON B26 comes with a large cuff (22-42 cm).
- Place cuff on bare arm: Measuring over clothing can add 5-50 mmHg.
- Keep your heart at cuff level: If your arm is at a different height, it can add 10 mmHg.
- Do not cross your legs: Crossed legs can add 2-8 mmHg.
- Keep your back straight: A slouched back can add 6 mmHg.
- Empty your bladder before measurement: Measure first thing in the morning after emptying your bladder.

This diagram provides visual guidance on achieving accurate blood pressure readings, including advice on body posture, cuff placement, avoiding talking, and emptying the bladder before measurement.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all four AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Cuff Care: Do not wash the cuff. If it becomes dirty, wipe it gently with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry.
