5. Setup
5.1 Connecting Audio
Choose one of the following methods to connect the CD player to your amplifier or receiver:
- Analog Connection: Use the supplied RCA audio cable to connect the ANALOG OUT terminals (L and R) on the CD player to the corresponding analog input terminals (e.g., "CD," "AUX") on your amplifier.
- Digital Optical Connection: Use an optical digital cable (not supplied) to connect the DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) terminal on the CD player to an optical digital input on your amplifier or DAC.
- Digital Coaxial Connection: Use a coaxial digital cable (not supplied) to connect the DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL) terminal on the CD player to a coaxial digital input on your amplifier or DAC.
Note: When using a digital connection, ensure your amplifier or DAC is set to the correct digital input and can decode the audio signal.
5.2 Power Connection
Connect the supplied power cord to the AC IN terminal on the rear panel of the CD player, then plug the other end into a suitable AC wall outlet.
6. Operation
6.1 Basic Playback
- Press the Power/Standby button to turn on the unit.
- Press the Open/Close button to open the disc tray.
- Place a CD (Audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, or MP3 CD) onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the Open/Close button again to close the disc tray. The player will read the disc.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
- To pause playback, press the Play/Pause button. Press it again to resume.
- To stop playback, press the Stop button.
- To skip tracks, use the Skip buttons (<< or >>).
6.2 Advanced Playback Functions
- Program Play: Allows you to create a custom playback order of up to 25 tracks. Refer to the remote control section for detailed instructions.
- Random Play: Plays tracks on the disc in a random order. Activate this function using the remote control.

6.3 Headphone Use

The supplied remote control provides full functionality for the CD player, including power, disc tray open/close, playback controls, track selection, program play, random play, repeat play, and display dimmer. Install the two AAA batteries (supplied) into the remote control, observing correct polarity.
7. Maintenance
