• Verify that the line voltage at the fixture is within the specified range of 85-265V AC.
• Ensure the size of the junction box is suitable for your original space. Cutting may be required.
• This product is designed for indoor use only and is not water resistant. Do not install in locations where it may be exposed to moisture.
• Do not attempt to modify the fixture. Any modifications will void the warranty and may pose safety risks.

• 1 x LED Driver (integrated with J-Box)

Note: Wire nuts for electrical connections are not included and must be purchased separately.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps for proper installation of your recessed light. It is recommended to have basic electrical knowledge or consult a professional.

1. Prepare the Area:

   Turn off the main power supply to the circuit at the breaker box before starting any electrical work. Use a voltage tester to confirm the power is off.

2. Cut the Hole:

   Using the specified cut hole size of 8.07 inches (205mm), carefully cut a square opening in the ceiling at the desired location. Ensure there are no obstructions like joists or pipes within the ceiling space.

3. Wire the Junction Box:

   Open the cover of the LED driver's junction box. Connect the household electrical wires to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using appropriate wire nuts (not included). Typically, this involves connecting the black wire to black, white to white, and ground to ground. Ensure all connections are secure.

4. Secure the Junction Box:

   Once wired, close the junction box cover and fix the junction box securely within the ceiling space, ensuring it does not interfere with the light fixture's placement.
5. Install the Light Fixture:

   Connect the light fixture's cable to the quick-connect port on the LED driver. Gently push the spring clips on the sides of the light fixture upwards. Insert the fixture into the prepared ceiling hole, ensuring the spring clips retract and firmly hold the light in place against the ceiling.

6. Restore Power:

   Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker and test the light.

Operating Instructions

The GIANOR 8-inch 18W Ultra Thin Square Recessed Light operates via a standard wall switch connected to its circuit. As this model is non-dimmable, it will provide full brightness when switched on.

• To turn the light ON, flip the connected wall switch to the 'ON' position.
• To turn the light OFF, flip the connected wall switch to the 'OFF' position.

Note: This fixture is not compatible with dimmer switches. Using a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

Maintenance

The GIANOR recessed light requires minimal maintenance due to its long-lasting LED technology.

• Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the surface of the light with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electrical components.
• Bulb Replacement: The LED chips are integrated and not user-replaceable. The fixture is designed for a long lifespan of over 50,000 hours.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are observed, turn off power immediately and consult a qualified electrician.
