Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and keyboard surface.
- Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
- For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
Dust and Spill Resistance (IP42)
The Corsair K55 RGB keyboard features IP42 dust and spill resistance, providing protection against limited dust ingress and water splashes. While this offers a degree of protection, it is not fully waterproof. Avoid submerging the keyboard in liquid or exposing it to excessive dust.
