Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the speaker's built-in rechargeable battery. Connect the included 12V power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the speaker and plug it into a standard wall outlet (100/240V). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge ensures optimal performance and battery life.

2. Powering On/Off

Locate the POWER switch on the control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. The digital LCD display will illuminate. To power off, flip the switch to the 'OFF' position.

3. Connecting Microphones

The system supports various microphones:

• Wired Handheld Microphone: Plug the wired microphone's cable into the 'MIC 1' or 'MIC 2' input jack on the control panel.
• Headset/Lavalier Microphones: Connect the headset or lavalier microphone to the belt-pack transmitter. Ensure the belt-pack transmitter is powered on and properly paired if it's wireless (refer to belt-pack instructions if applicable).

4. Connecting External Audio Devices (AUX)

To connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) via AUX, use the included 3.5mm audio connection cable. Plug one end into the 'AUX' input port on the speaker and the other end into the headphone jack or audio output of your device.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

Familiarize yourself with the control panel located on the top of the speaker. Key controls include:

• Volume Knob: Adjusts the master volume of the speaker.
• MIC VOL: Adjusts the volume of the connected microphones.
• ECHO: Controls the echo effect for microphone vocals.
• BASS/TREBLE: Adjusts the bass and treble levels of the audio output.
• MODE/SHIFT: Cycles through input modes (Bluetooth, FM, USB, SD, AUX). Long press for shift functions.
• REC/DEL: Initiates audio recording or deletes recorded files.
• EQ: Cycles through equalizer presets.
• LED POWER: Turns the DJ party lights on/off.
• LED MODE 1/2: Changes the pattern of the DJ party lights.
• USB/Micro SD Slots: For inserting USB flash drives and Micro SD cards.
• LINE IN: AUX input port.
• EAR MIC: Input for headset microphone.
• DC 12V: Power adapter input.

1. Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

1. Power on the speaker.
2. Press the 'MODE' button until the display shows 'BLUE' or indicates Bluetooth mode.
3. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for Bluetooth devices.
4. Select 'PyleUSA' from the list of available devices.
5. If prompted for a password, enter '0000'.
6. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and you can now stream audio wirelessly. The Bluetooth wireless range is approximately 65+ feet.

2. USB/Micro SD Playback

To play audio from a USB flash drive or Micro SD card:

1. Insert a USB flash drive or Micro SD card (up to 32GB) containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playing the first compatible audio file. If it doesn't, press the 'MODE' button to select USB/SD mode.
3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the speaker or remote control to manage your music.

3. FM Radio Operation

To use the FM radio function:

1. Press the 'MODE' button until the display shows 'FM' or indicates FM radio mode.
2. Press the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic channel search. The speaker will scan and save available FM stations (up to 60 channels).
3. Use the Next/Previous Track buttons to navigate through the saved stations.

4. Audio Recording Function

The speaker allows you to record audio directly to a USB flash drive or Micro SD card:

1. Ensure a USB flash drive or Micro SD card is inserted into the corresponding slot.
2. Play the audio you wish to record (e.g., music from Bluetooth, AUX, or FM radio).
3. To record vocals, ensure a microphone is connected and active.
4. Press the 'REC' button (often combined with 'DEL'). The recording will start, and the audio will be saved as an MP3 file.
5. Press 'REC' again to stop recording. Recorded files can be easily transferred to a PC or Mac.

5. DJ Party Lights

The speaker features built-in flashing DJ party lights:

• Press the 'LED POWER' button to turn the lights on or off.
• Use the 'LED MODE 1' and 'LED MODE 2' buttons to cycle through different light patterns and effects.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your speaker, wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the finish. Keep the speaker free from dust and debris, especially around the speaker grilles and control panel.

Battery Care

The speaker contains a rechargeable lead-acid battery. To maximize battery life:

• Fully charge the battery before first use.
• Recharge the battery regularly, even if the speaker is not used frequently.
• Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
