Thank you for choosing the Moulinex Classic LS330D Stainless Steel Toaster. This appliance is designed to provide efficient and consistent toasting for various types of bread. Featuring two long, wide slots, it can accommodate up to four slices of standard bread simultaneously. The toaster offers six browning settings, allowing you to customize your toast to your preferred level of crispness. A convenient stop button provides immediate control over the toasting cycle. Please read this manual carefully before first use and keep it for future reference.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials, including any protective films or inserts, are removed from inside and outside the toaster slots.
  2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from curtains, walls, or other flammable materials. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage rating of the toaster matches your local power supply.
  4. First Use (Burn-off Cycle): Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster empty for a few minutes on the highest browning setting (6). This will burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Operating Instructions

  1. Insert Bread: Place up to four slices of bread into the two long, wide slots. The slots are designed to accommodate various bread types, including artisan and standard slices.
  2. Select Browning Level: Use the browning control dial located on the side of the toaster to select your desired browning level from 1 (lightest) to 6 (darkest).

  4. Start Toasting: Push the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin, and the heating elements will glow.

  6. Stop Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the 'Stop' button. The carriage will immediately pop up, and the heating elements will turn off.

  8. Remove Toast: Once the toasting cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up. Use the extra lift system by gently pushing the carriage lever upwards to raise smaller items for easier and safer removal.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster. Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Crumb Tray: The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning. Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster, empty the crumbs, and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the tray is completely dry before reinserting it.

  3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the stainless steel finish.
  4. Interior Cleaning: Never insert utensils or your fingers into the toaster slots. If bread gets stuck, unplug the toaster and carefully remove it once the appliance has cooled.
  5. Dishwasher Safety: This appliance is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning.

Troubleshooting
