Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following guidelines:

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your flybold Slackline Kit:

  1. Choose Anchor Points: Select two strong, healthy trees or secure posts that are approximately 57 feet (17.5 meters) apart. Ensure the trees have a minimum strength of 3 tons.
  2. Apply Tree Protectors: Wrap the wide tree protectors around each anchor point at the desired height. These protect both the tree bark and the slackline webbing from friction.
  3. Attach Main Slackline:
    • Loop one end of the main slackline around one tree protector and secure it to the ratchet mechanism.
    • Extend the slackline to the second tree.
    • Wrap the other end of the slackline around the second tree protector and feed it through the second ratchet.

  4. Tension the Slackline:
    • Ensure the ratchets are in the open position.
    • Pull the slackline through the ratchet until most of the slack is removed.
    • Operate the ratchet handle to apply tension. Continue ratcheting until the desired tautness is achieved, without over-tensioning.
    • Once desired tension is achieved, lock the ratchet handle in the closed position.
  5. Install Ratchet Protector: Place the ratchet protector over the ratchet mechanism to cover it completely. This prevents accidental contact and protects the mechanism from elements.
