Setup

Initial Setup

1. Unpack the Keyboard: Remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Insert Batteries: The keyboard comes with 2 AAA batteries pre-installed. If needed, locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard, slide open the cover, and ensure the batteries are correctly inserted according to the polarity indicators.
3. Power On: Locate the On/Off switch on the right edge of the keyboard and slide it to the 'On' position. The LED indicator light should illuminate briefly.

Connecting to Devices

1. Using the Unifying Receiver (for Computers):

   • Press one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) on the keyboard until its LED blinks rapidly. This indicates it's ready for pairing.
   • If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing.
2. Using Bluetooth Smart (for Computers, Phones, Tablets):
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (computer, phone, or tablet).
   • Press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) on the keyboard for 3 seconds until its LED blinks rapidly. This puts the keyboard in pairing mode.
   • On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech K780" from the list of available devices.
   • Follow any on-screen prompts, such as entering a code on the K780 keyboard, to complete the pairing. The LED on the Easy-Switch key will turn solid for 5 seconds and then turn off, indicating successful pairing.

Easy-Switch Functionality

Battery Replacement

  • For Unifying Receiver: Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
  • For Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is within range (up to 10 meters). Try re-pairing the keyboard.
• Lag or Disconnections:
  • Move the keyboard closer to your device.
  • Avoid placing the keyboard near other wireless devices that might cause interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
  • Ensure your device's operating system and Bluetooth drivers are up to date.

  • Check for any debris or obstructions under the keys.
