2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using this product to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the shredder from its packaging.
- Placement: Place the shredder on a flat, stable surface. The shredder includes wheels for easy movement. Ensure adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Install Waste Bin: The shredder comes with a 22.7-liter removable waste bin. Slide the bin into the shredder body until it clicks securely into place. The shredder will not operate if the bin is not correctly installed and the safety interlock is engaged.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Shredding Paper
- Set the 4-function switch to 'Auto'. The shredder is now in standby mode.
- Insert up to 15 sheets of 70 gsm (or 14 sheets of 80 gsm) paper into the paper entry slot. The shredder will automatically start and stop once the paper has been shredded.
- The shredder produces 4 x 31 mm cross-cut particles, meeting P-4 security level standards.
- Small staples and paper clips do not need to be removed from documents before shredding.

5.2 Shredding CDs/DVDs and Credit Cards
- Set the 4-function switch to 'Auto'.
- Insert one CD/DVD or credit card into the dedicated slot. The shredder will automatically start and stop.

5.3 Continuous Operation
The shredder is designed for a continuous operation time of 20 minutes. After 20 minutes of continuous use, the shredder requires a cool-down period of 45 minutes to prevent overheating. The 'Overheat' LED indicator will illuminate if the shredder exceeds its operating temperature.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Emptying the Waste Bin
When the 'Bin Full' LED indicator illuminates, or when the bin is visibly full, unplug the shredder and carefully pull out the waste bin. Dispose of the shredded material and reinsert the bin securely.

6.2 Oiling the Shredder
To maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your shredder, it is recommended to oil the cutting blades regularly, at least once a month or after emptying the waste bin 2-3 times. Use a shredder-specific lubricant. Apply a few drops of oil across the paper entry slot or apply oil to a sheet of paper and shred it.
6.3 Cleaning
Unplug the shredder before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
