3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the quadcopter battery to the provided charger.
- Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
- Allow the battery to charge fully. The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete. Charging typically takes 60-90 minutes.
- Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect once fully charged.
3.2 Installing the Battery
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the V262 quadcopter.
- Carefully insert the charged battery into the compartment.
- Connect the battery plug to the quadcopter's power connector, ensuring correct polarity.
- Secure the battery compartment cover.
3.3 Installing Transmitter Batteries
The remote control (transmitter) requires 6 x AA batteries (not included).
- Open the battery cover on the back of the transmitter.
- Insert 6 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
3.4 Propeller Installation/Replacement
Ensure propellers are installed correctly. Each propeller is marked with 'A' or 'B' and must match the corresponding motor arm.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pairing the Quadcopter with the Transmitter
- Place the quadcopter on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the quadcopter by connecting its battery. The LED lights on the quadcopter will flash.
- Turn on the transmitter. The transmitter's indicator light will flash.
- Push the left throttle stick (left joystick) all the way up, then all the way down.
- The quadcopter's LEDs and the transmitter's indicator light will become solid, indicating successful pairing.
4.2 Basic Flight Controls
- Left Stick (Throttle/Yaw):
- Up/Down: Controls altitude (throttle).
- Left/Right: Controls rotation (yaw).
- Right Stick (Pitch/Roll):
- Up/Down: Controls forward/backward movement (pitch).
- Left/Right: Controls left/right movement (roll).

4.3 Take-off and Landing
- Take-off: After pairing, slowly push the left throttle stick upwards. The propellers will spin, and the quadcopter will ascend.
- Landing: Slowly pull the left throttle stick downwards. The quadcopter will descend. Once it touches the ground, pull the stick all the way down to stop the motors.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the quadcopter with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as they can damage electronic components.
5.2 Propeller Inspection
Regularly inspect propellers for cracks, bends, or damage. Damaged propellers can affect flight stability and efficiency. Replace them with spare propellers as needed.
5.3 Battery Care
- Always disconnect the battery from the quadcopter when not in use.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not puncture, short-circuit, or disassemble batteries.

6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Quadcopter does not respond to transmitter. | Not paired; low battery in transmitter or quadcopter. | Re-pair the quadcopter and transmitter. Charge quadcopter battery; replace transmitter batteries. |
| Quadcopter flies erratically or drifts. | Damaged propellers; uncalibrated gyroscope; strong wind. | Inspect and replace damaged propellers. Re-calibrate gyroscope (refer to specific transmitter instructions). Fly in calm conditions. |
| Short flight time. | Battery not fully charged; aging battery. | Ensure battery is fully charged before flight. Consider replacing old batteries. |
