4.1. Alignment

The GTW 6-inch Double A-Arm Lift Kit features adjustable camber and toe. Proper alignment is essential for safe handling and tire longevity.

  • Toe Adjustment: Adjust the tie rods to achieve the correct toe-in specification for your golf cart model. This typically involves measuring the distance between the front and rear of the tires at hub height.
  • Camber Adjustment: The A-arm design allows for camber adjustment. Adjust the upper A-arm pivot points to achieve the desired camber angle.
  • It is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed by a qualified technician.

4.2. Test Drive

Perform a slow test drive in a safe, open area to check for proper steering, braking, and suspension function. Listen for any unusual noises.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your lift kit.

  • Greasing: The lift kit includes pivot point grease fittings. Regularly lubricate these fittings with appropriate grease to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
  • Fastener Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts, nuts, and other fasteners for tightness. Re-torque as necessary, especially after initial installation and off-road use.
  • Bushing Inspection: Inspect the durable urethane bushings for signs of wear or damage. Replace as needed.
