- Disconnect the battery (electric models) or spark plug wire (gas models) to prevent accidental starting.
- Keep hands and clothing clear of moving parts.
- Verify all fasteners are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications after installation and periodically thereafter.
- After installation, perform a full inspection of steering, braking, and suspension components.
2. Package Contents

4. Operation and Post-Installation Adjustments
After installation, it is crucial to perform alignment and safety checks before operating the golf cart.
4.1. Alignment
The GTW 6-inch Double A-Arm Lift Kit features adjustable camber and toe. Proper alignment is essential for safe handling and tire longevity.
- Toe Adjustment: Adjust the tie rods to achieve the correct toe-in specification for your golf cart model. This typically involves measuring the distance between the front and rear of the tires at hub height.
- Camber Adjustment: The A-arm design allows for camber adjustment. Adjust the upper A-arm pivot points to achieve the desired camber angle.
- It is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed by a qualified technician.
4.2. Test Drive
Perform a slow test drive in a safe, open area to check for proper steering, braking, and suspension function. Listen for any unusual noises.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your lift kit.
- Greasing: The lift kit includes pivot point grease fittings. Regularly lubricate these fittings with appropriate grease to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
- Fastener Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts, nuts, and other fasteners for tightness. Re-torque as necessary, especially after initial installation and off-road use.
- Bushing Inspection: Inspect the durable urethane bushings for signs of wear or damage. Replace as needed.
- Component Inspection: Regularly check all suspension components for bends, cracks, or other damage. Replace any compromised parts immediately.
