2. Safety Information

- Indoor Use Only: This lantern is designed exclusively for indoor environments. Do not expose it to rain, moisture, or direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Battery Safety: Use only the specified battery type (3 AA batteries). Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the product is not used for a long time to prevent leakage.
- Flameless Design: While flameless, keep the lantern away from flammable materials.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power (remove batteries) before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Children and Pets: Keep out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion of small parts or batteries.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the lantern.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert 3 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Placement
The lantern is versatile and can be placed on any flat surface or hung using its integrated hanging ring.
- Tabletop Placement: Ensure the surface is stable and level.
- Hanging Placement: Use a sturdy hook or fixture capable of supporting the lantern's weight.

5. Operating Instructions
The lantern features a simple ON/OFF/TIMER switch located on its base.
- Power ON: Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. The LED candle will illuminate with a warm white flickering effect.
- Power OFF: Slide the switch to the 'OFF' position to turn off the lantern.
- Timer Function: Slide the switch to the 'TIMER' position. The lantern will light up for 8 hours, then automatically turn off for 16 hours. It will repeat this cycle daily. This 'set-and-forget' feature allows for convenient automated operation.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your lantern:
- Ensure the lantern is turned off and batteries are removed before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- For glass panels, a mild glass cleaner can be used, applied to a cloth first, not directly to the lantern.
- Do not immerse the lantern in water or any other liquid.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the light dims or stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.
