Setup

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the charger, batteries, and power cables from the packaging.
2. Insert Batteries: Align the battery contacts with the charger's terminals and gently slide the batteries into the charging slots until they click into place. The charger is designed to accommodate two batteries simultaneously.

3. Connect Power:
   • For AC power, connect the provided AC power cord to the charger and then to a standard wall outlet (AC 100V-240V).
   • For car charging, connect the car charger adapter to the charger and then to your vehicle's 12V DC outlet.
4. Observe LCD Display: Upon connecting power and inserting batteries, the LCD screen on the charger will illuminate, displaying the current charging status and battery capacity for each slot.

Operating Instructions

The Kastar LCD Dual Smart Fast Charger offers two charging modes: Low (L) and High (H) current.

1. Default Charging Mode: The charger defaults to the Low (L) current mode upon startup.
2. Switching Current Mode: To switch to High (H) current mode for faster charging, briefly press the "Push" button located on the charger. Pressing it again will toggle back to Low (L) mode.
3. Understanding the LCD Display:

   LCD Display Icon Definitions

   Icon	Definition	Function Declaration
   H	High current charging mode	When this icon is displayed, it indicates high current charging mode. For 1 battery, the current is 1.5A. For 2 batteries, the current is 0.8A per battery.
   L	Lower current charging mode	When this icon is displayed, it indicates lower current charging mode. For 1 battery, the current is 1.0A. For 2 batteries, the current is 0.5A per battery.
   █████	Battery icon	Indicates full charge when all segments are illuminated. During charging, segments will progressively illuminate.
   100%	Battery capacity percent	Displays the estimated battery capacity as a percentage.
   🚗	Car icon	When blinking, it means the battery cannot be charged with car input. Please change to AC input mode or use a 24V car charger.

4. Charging Completion: The LCD display will show "100%" and the battery icon will be fully illuminated when charging is complete.
5. Remove Batteries: Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the power source and carefully remove the fully charged batteries.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the charger and batteries. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Removal: Always remove rechargeable batteries from the charger when not in use for extended periods.
• Temperature: The optimal working temperature for the charger is 0°C-4°C. It is normal for the charger to generate a slight amount of heat during operation.
• Disposal: Dispose of batteries properly according to local regulations. Do not incinerate or disassemble batteries.
• Short-Circuit Prevention: Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Temperature Exposure: Do not expose batteries to high temperatures exceeding 140°F/60°C.

• Charger Not Powering On:

• Battery Not Charging:
  • Ensure the battery is correctly inserted into the charging slot with contacts aligned.

• Car Icon Blinking:
  • If the car icon blinks, it indicates that the battery cannot be charged with the current car input. Switch to AC input or use a 24V car charger.
