  • Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
  • Extreme caution must be exercised when removing tray or disposing of hot grease.

Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the toaster oven and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective film from the appliance.
  3. Wash the bake pan and oven rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Placement:

  • Place the toaster oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance on all sides of the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place directly under cabinets.
  • Do not place the oven near flammable materials such as curtains, drapes, or walls.

Before First Use:

It is recommended to run the toaster oven empty for approximately 15 minutes on the "Bake" setting at 450°F (232°C) to burn off any manufacturing oils. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial use; this is normal and will dissipate.

  • Temperature Dial: Located at the top, this dial allows you to select temperatures from 150°F to 450°F.
  • Function Dial: The middle dial selects the cooking mode: TOAST, BAKE, or BROIL.
  • Timer Dial: The bottom dial sets the cooking time up to 30 minutes. It also includes a "Stay On" function for longer cooking times and an auto shutoff with a ready bell.

The oven rack can be placed in two positions: upper for broiling or toasting, and lower for baking. The bake pan is designed to fit on the oven rack and is suitable for baking smaller items or catching drippings during broiling.

Toasting:

  1. Place the oven rack in the upper position.
  2. Place up to 4 slices of bread directly on the oven rack.
  3. Close the oven door.
  4. Turn the Function Dial to "TOAST".
  5. Turn the Timer Dial past 20 minutes, then back to your desired toast shade (light to dark). The oven will automatically shut off when the timer rings.

Baking:

  1. Place the oven rack in the lower position.
  2. Place food on the bake pan and slide the pan onto the oven rack.
  3. Close the oven door.
  4. Turn the Function Dial to "BAKE".
  5. Turn the Temperature Dial to your desired baking temperature (150°F - 450°F).
  6. Turn the Timer Dial to your desired baking time. For times longer than 30 minutes, turn the dial to "Stay On" and monitor cooking manually.

Broiling:

  1. Place the oven rack in the upper position.
  2. Place food on the bake pan and slide the pan onto the oven rack.
  3. Close the oven door.
  4. Turn the Function Dial to "BROIL". The temperature is fixed at 450°F for broiling.
  5. Turn the Timer Dial to your desired broiling time. Broiling typically requires shorter times, so monitor food closely to prevent burning.

Care and Maintenance

The built-in crumb tray is located at the bottom of the oven and slides out for easy cleaning. It is recommended to clean the crumb tray regularly to prevent the buildup of crumbs, which can be a fire hazard.

  1. Ensure the toaster oven is unplugged and completely cool.
  2. Pull out the crumb tray from the front of the oven.
  3. Discard crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  4. Slide the crumb tray back into place.

Cleaning the Interior and Exterior:

  • Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
