2. Pre-Filter Cleaning
The washable pre-filter (first stage of filtration) can be cleaned every 4-6 weeks to maintain efficiency. Gently vacuum the pre-filter to remove large particles like dust, pet hair, and lint. If necessary, it can be washed with mild soap and water, then thoroughly air-dried before re-installation.
Troubleshooting
- Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the filter is installed correctly and the filter compartment is closed.
- Reduced Airflow/Poor Performance: Check the filter for excessive dirt or blockage. Clean the pre-filter or replace the H13 True HEPA filter if needed. Ensure there is no obstruction to the air intake or outlet vents.
- Unusual Noise: Verify that the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface. Check for any foreign objects inside the unit or if the filter is improperly installed.
- Filter Reset Light Remains On: After replacing the filter, ensure you reset the filter indicator by pressing and holding the Power Button for 3-5 seconds.
