2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Power Connection

2. Connect the provided power cable to the mixer's power input.
3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable AC power outlet.

4.3 Input Connections

• Microphones: Connect microphones to the XLR inputs (channels 1-12).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

1. Before powering on, ensure all channel faders and the MAIN MIX faders are at their lowest setting.
2. Turn on any connected audio sources (microphones, instruments).
3. Flip the power switch on the mixer to the ON position.
4. Finally, turn on your power amplifier or active speakers.
5. To power off, reverse this sequence: speakers off, then mixer off, then audio sources off.

5.2 Adjusting Input Levels (Gain)

1. Select a channel with an active input.
2. Slowly raise the channel's GAIN knob until the signal peak LED occasionally flashes. Avoid constant illumination, which indicates clipping.
3. Adjust the channel fader to the desired level in the mix.

5.3 Equalization (EQ)

Each mono channel features a 3-band EQ:

• HI: Adjusts the high frequencies (treble).
• MID: Adjusts the mid-range frequencies.
• LO: Adjusts the low frequencies (bass).

Use these controls to shape the tone of each input. Start with all EQ knobs at the center (flat) position.

5.4 Effects Processor

1. Use the FX SEND knob on each channel to send a portion of that channel's signal to the internal effects processor.
2. Select the desired effect program using the controls in the effects section.
3. Adjust the master FX RETURN level to blend the effect into the main mix.

5.5 USB/SD Media Player

The integrated USB/SD player allows for playback of audio files and recording of the main mix.

• Insert a USB drive or SD card containing audio files.
• Use the transport controls (Play, Pause, Skip) to manage playback.
• Refer to the display for track information and recording status.

5.6 Main Mix and Monitoring

• Main Mix Faders: Use the MAIN MIX L/R faders to control the overall output volume.
• Graphic Equalizer: The 7-band graphic EQ allows for fine-tuning the overall frequency response of the main mix.
