1. Product Overview

The QUANS 10W LED Flood Light is designed for outdoor security and general illumination. This low-voltage floodlight operates on 12V or 24V DC/AC power sources, making it suitable for various applications including battery-powered systems, solar setups, and vehicle lighting. Each unit provides 800-900 lumens of warm white light (3000-3500K color temperature) and features an IP65 waterproof rating for reliable performance in diverse weather conditions. 2. Safety Information

• Voltage Compatibility: This flood light is designed for 12V or 24V DC/AC input ONLY. Connecting it directly to 110V AC household power will cause severe damage to the lamp and poses a safety risk. A power transformer is required if connecting from a 110V AC source.
• Wiring: Ensure correct polarity when wiring DC power. For DC connections, the Red/Brown wire is positive (+) and the Black/Blue wire is negative (-).
• Installation: Installation should be performed by a qualified individual or with proper knowledge of electrical wiring. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.
• Waterproof Rating: The IP65 rating indicates protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. While suitable for outdoor use in rain, avoid submerging the light in water.
• Heat: Although LED lights are energy-efficient, the floodlight housing may become warm during operation. Avoid touching the light directly when it is on for extended periods.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting

Each flood light comes with an adjustable mounting bracket. The bracket allows for flexible positioning and can be secured to a wall, post, or other stable surface using appropriate screws (not included). Adjust the angle of the light as needed after mounting.

4.2 Wiring

The flood light is equipped with a 15-20cm wire lead without a plug. Follow these steps for wiring:

1. Ensure Power is Off: Before making any electrical connections, ensure that the power source is completely disconnected to prevent electric shock.
2. Identify Wires: The flood light has two wires. For DC power, the Red/Brown wire is positive (+) and the Black/Blue wire is negative (-). For AC power, polarity is generally not a concern, but ensure secure connections.
3. Connect to Power Source: Connect the flood light's wires to your 12V or 24V DC/AC power supply. Use appropriate wire connectors and ensure all connections are waterproofed, especially for outdoor installations.
4. Verify Voltage: Double-check that your power source is within the 12V-24V range. DO NOT connect to 110V AC directly. If using 110V AC, a suitable power transformer (not included) is mandatory to convert the voltage to 12V or 24V.

5. Operating Instructions

Once properly installed and wired to a compatible 12V or 24V DC/AC power source, the QUANS LED Flood Light will illuminate when power is supplied. Operation is straightforward: simply turn on the power to the circuit the light is connected to. There are no external controls on the light itself; control is managed via the power source switch.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the glass surface of the flood light with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal light output. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Connection Check: Annually inspect all electrical connections for tightness and signs of corrosion, especially in outdoor environments.
• Corrosion Prevention: For outdoor installations, consider applying a water-displacing lubricant like WD40 to the mounting bracket screws and other exposed metal parts to prevent corrosion and extend the product's lifespan.
• Damage Inspection: Regularly check the light for any physical damage to the housing or wiring. If damage is found, disconnect power immediately and replace the unit if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

• Light Does Not Turn On:
  • Verify that the power source is active and providing the correct 12V or 24V DC/AC voltage.
  • Check all wiring connections for security and correct polarity (Red/Brown to +, Black/Blue to - for DC).
  • Ensure no short circuits are present in the wiring.
  • Confirm that the light was not accidentally connected to 110V AC, which would damage the unit.
• Light Flickers or is Dim:
  • Check for loose wiring connections.
  • Ensure the power supply is stable and providing sufficient current for all connected lights.
  • If using a battery, check its charge level.
• Interference with Radio/TV Signals:
  • Some LED lights can generate electromagnetic interference (EMI). If interference with nearby electronic devices (e.g., TV antenna) is observed, try relocating the flood light further away from sensitive equipment or using shielded wiring.
