5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preheating

  1. Close the grill and plug it into a power outlet.

5.2 Using as a Contact Grill

  2. Carefully open the grill using the handle.
  3. Place your food onto the lower grill plate. Do not overload the grill.
  4. Close the top grill plate. The Vario-Flex grill plate system automatically adjusts to the thickness of your food.
  5. Grill for the recommended time or until desired doneness is achieved.
  6. Use heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensils to remove food. Avoid metal utensils to prevent damage to the non-stick coating.

5.3 Using as a Table Grill (Open Mode)

For larger quantities or foods that do not require pressing, the grill can be fully opened to double the grilling surface.

  1. Preheat the grill as described above.
  2. Open the grill completely until the top plate lies flat, creating a large, continuous grilling surface.
  3. Place your food on both grill plates.
  4. Grill, turning food as necessary, until cooked to your preference.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your grill.

  1. Cool Down: Always unplug the grill and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove Drip Tray: Slide out the fat drip tray and empty its contents. Wash the tray with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
