Setup
Speaker Placement
Optimal placement of your 5.1 surround sound system is crucial for the best audio experience. Consider the following guidelines:
- Subwoofer: Place the subwoofer on the floor, ideally in a corner or near a wall to enhance bass response.
- Front Left & Right Speakers: Position these speakers on either side of your TV or main listening area, equidistant from the listener.
- Center Speaker: Place the center speaker directly above or below your TV, centered with the screen. This speaker handles most dialogue.
- Surround Left & Right Speakers: Position these speakers to the sides or slightly behind your main listening position, facing inwards.
Connections
Before connecting, ensure the main power switch on the subwoofer is in the OFF position and the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Connect Satellite Speakers: Connect each of the five satellite speakers to the corresponding output terminals on the rear of the subwoofer unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Connect Audio Source (AUX): For wired connections, use an RCA to 3.5mm cable (or similar, depending on your source device) to connect your TV, DVD player, or other audio source to the "AUDIO INPUT" ports on the subwoofer.
- Power Connection: Once all speakers and audio sources are connected, plug the subwoofer's power cord into a standard AC power outlet.
