CGOLDENWALL ZB500S
CGOLDENWALL ZB500S Automatic Solder Paste Mixer
Instruction Manual
1. Product Overview
The CGOLDENWALL ZB500S is an automatic solder paste mixer designed for efficient and uniform mixing of solder cream for PCB assembly. It ensures optimal viscosity and removes air bubbles, crucial for high-quality soldering processes.

Figure 1: Front view of the ZB500S Solder Paste Mixer with the lid open, revealing the dual mixing stations.
Key Characteristics:
- Special control circuit with adjustable mixing time for precise operation.
- Solder cream is positioned at a 45-degree angle and rotates along the axis, preventing adhesion to the pot cover.
- Smooth operation with low noise levels.
- Facilitates natural temperature return and bubble removal during mixing.
- Allows for convenient and safe pick-and-place without opening the solder cream pot cover.
- Equipped with safety devices to ensure personal safety during operation.
2. Product Features
- Special Control Circuit: Features an adjustable mixing time for easy and precise operation.
- Optimized Mixing Angle: Solder cream is placed at a 45-degree angle and rotates along the axis direction, preventing it from sticking to the pot cover.
- Temperature & Bubble Management: Includes functions for natural temperature return and effective bubble removal during the mixing process.
- Convenient Operation: No need to open the cover of the solder cream pot, enhancing convenience and safety for pick-and-place operations.
- Advanced Mixing Mechanism: The automatic solder cream mixer moves solder cream downward continuously through centrifugal force generated by revolution and cooperation with energy from rotation at a 45-degree angle of the axis of revolution. Solder cream located in the tank bottom makes upward movement from the surrounding, forming a tornado-funnel shaped stirring action. This process effectively stirs, softens, and defoams the solder cream to achieve appropriate viscosity.

5. Operating Instructions
- Prepare Solder Cream: Ensure the solder cream is in its original sealed container (standard 500g solder cream bottle, diameter Φ60-Φ67mm). Do not open the container.
- Load Solder Cream: Open the mixer cover. Carefully place the solder cream container(s) into the designated tin cream jar holders. Ensure they are seated securely. The mixer can accommodate two tanks.
- Close Cover: Close the mixer cover firmly until the lock catches engage. Ensure it is fully secured before proceeding.
- Set Mixing Time: Use the timer controls on the front panel to set the desired mixing duration. The timer can be set from 0.01 seconds to 99 hours and 99 seconds. Refer to your solder paste manufacturer's recommendations for optimal mixing times.
- Start Mixing: Press the "Start" button to begin the mixing cycle. The machine will operate smoothly with low noise.
- Monitor Process: You can observe the mixing process through the observation window.
- Stop Mixing: The mixer will automatically stop once the set time has elapsed. To manually stop the process at any time, press the "Stop" button.
- Unload Solder Cream: Once mixing is complete and the machine has stopped, open the cover and carefully remove the solder cream container(s).

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ZB500S mixer.
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Internal Inspection: Periodically inspect the internal mixing area for any solder paste residue or debris. Clean as needed, ensuring no foreign material interferes with the mixing mechanism.
- Lubrication: No user-serviceable lubrication points are typically required. Refer to professional service if any moving parts appear stiff.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mixer in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Safety Devices: Periodically check the functionality of the safety lock catches and the emergency stop button.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not power on. | Power cord not connected; Power switch off; No power from outlet. | Check power cord connection; Ensure On/Off switch is "On"; Test outlet with another device. |
| Mixer does not start when "Start" button is pressed. | Cover not securely closed; Timer not set; Internal safety interlock engaged. | Ensure cover is fully latched; Set a valid mixing time; Check for any obstructions or error codes (if applicable). |
| Unusual noise during operation. | Solder cream container not properly seated; Foreign object inside; Mechanical issue. | Stop machine immediately. Check container seating; Inspect internal area for debris. If noise persists, contact customer support. |
| Solder cream not mixing properly. | Incorrect mixing time set; Solder cream too old/hard; Container not suitable. | Adjust mixing time; Ensure solder cream is within its shelf life; Use standard 500g containers. |
