Setup

1. Device Overview

Familiarize yourself with the physical layout of your Alcatel Pixi 4 smartphone.

2. Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge your smartphone. Connect the micro USB cable to the charging port on your phone and the other end to the provided charger. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.

3. Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power button (located on the side of the device) until the screen lights up. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup.

Operating Your Device

1. Basic Navigation

• Home Screen: Swipe left or right to access different home screen panels.
• Notifications: Swipe down from the top of the screen to view notifications and quick settings.
• App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access all installed applications.

2. Making Calls

Tap the Phone icon on the home screen. Enter the phone number using the dial pad or select a contact from your address book. Tap the Call button to initiate the call.

3. Sending Messages

Tap the Messages icon. Tap the New Message icon to compose a new message. Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts, then type your message and tap Send.

4. Connecting to Wi-Fi

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi. Toggle Wi-Fi On. Select your desired network from the list, enter the password if required, and tap Connect.

5. Camera Usage

Tap the Camera icon to open the camera application. Tap the Shutter button to take a photo. Swipe left or right to switch between photo and video modes. The device features an 8.0 MP rear camera and a front camera for selfies.

6. Fingerprint Recognition
