1. Introduction

The Pyle Pro PTED06 is a portable electronic tabletop drum set designed for both beginners and experienced musicians. It offers a comprehensive drumming experience with a variety of sounds and features in a compact form factor.

2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Pyle Pro PTED06 Electronic Drum Kit.

2.1 Powering the Unit

• AC Power: Connect the included wall power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the unit and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
• Battery Power: For portable use, the unit can be powered by (6) 'C' batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the underside of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2.2 Connecting Pedals

Connect the two digital foot pedals to the designated PEDAL 1 and PEDAL 2 jacks on the rear of the unit. PEDAL 1 typically controls the Hi-Hat, and PEDAL 2 controls the Kick Bass drum.

2.3 Audio Connections

• Headphones/Amplifier: Connect headphones or an external amplifier to the PHONES/OUTPUT jack for private practice or amplified sound.
• AUX Input: Use the AUX IN jack to connect external audio devices like MP3 players or smartphones to play along with your favorite music.

2.4 USB MIDI Connection

Connect the unit to a computer using a USB cable (not included) via the USB port. This allows the drum kit to function as a MIDI controller for music production software.

3. Operating Instructions

• Use the 'KIT' button to cycle through preset drum kits.
• Use the 'VOICE' button to select individual drum or cymbal sounds for each pad when customizing a kit.

3.4 Drum Trainer Learning Mode

3.5 Hand Percussion Mode

The PTED06 features a Hand Percussion Mode, allowing you to play the drum pads with your hands instead of sticks for a different tactile and sonic experience.

4. Maintenance
