1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for using your new Samsung Galaxy S7 (Model S7 G930). Please read this manual carefully to ensure safe and proper use of your device. Keep this manual for future reference.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a 32GB 4G/LTE Factory Unlocked GSM phone, designed for use with GSM networks. It will not operate on CDMA networks such as Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.

2. What's in the Box
Upon opening your Samsung Galaxy S7 package, please verify that all the following items are included:
- Samsung Galaxy S7 (Model S7 G930)
- Standard Accessories (e.g., USB charging cable, wall adapter, SIM ejector tool, headphones)
If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your point of purchase or Samsung customer support immediately.
3. Setup
3.1. Inserting the SIM Card and microSD Card
Your Samsung Galaxy S7 uses a Nano-SIM card. It also supports a microSD card for expandable storage.
- Locate the SIM/microSD card tray on the top edge of the device.
- Insert the provided SIM ejector tool into the small hole on the tray to open it.
- Place the Nano-SIM card into the SIM slot (usually the larger slot) with the gold contacts facing down.
- If using a microSD card, place it into the microSD card slot (usually the smaller slot) with the gold contacts facing down.
- Carefully push the tray back into the slot until it clicks into place.

3.2. Charging the Device
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your device.
- Connect the USB cable to the charging port at the bottom of your phone.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the wall adapter.
- Plug the wall adapter into a power outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

3.3. Powering On and Initial Setup
- Press and hold the Power/Lock button (located on the right side of the device) until the Samsung logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Navigation
- Touchscreen: Tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.
- Home Button: Press to return to the home screen. Double-press to launch the camera (customizable).
- Recent Apps Button: Tap to view recently used applications.
- Back Button: Tap to return to the previous screen.
4.2. Making Calls and Sending Messages
- Calls: Open the Phone app, enter the number, and tap the call icon.

- Open the Camera app (can be launched by double-pressing the Home button).
- Tap the shutter button to take a photo or the record button to start/stop video recording.
- Swipe left/right on the screen to switch between camera modes.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning Your Device
To clean your Samsung Galaxy S7, use a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the screen and finish.

6.3. Factory Data Reset
A factory data reset will erase all data from your device and restore it to its original factory settings. This should be a last resort for persistent issues and only performed after backing up all important data.
- Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.
