4. Assembly and Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your AAVIX AGT311 trimmer before first use.
4.1 Attaching the Safety Guard
- Ensure the trimmer is unplugged from the power source.

5. Operating Instructions
Follow these guidelines for safe and effective operation of your electric string trimmer.
5.1 Starting and Stopping
- Connect the trimmer's power cord to a suitable outdoor extension cord, ensuring the extension cord is rated for outdoor use and the correct amperage.
- Plug the extension cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- To start the trimmer, press and hold the trigger switch located on the main handle.
- To stop the trimmer, release the trigger switch.
5.2 Trimming Technique
- Hold the trimmer with both hands, one on the main handle and one on the assist handle.

- Press the tabs or twist the cap as indicated on the unit to release and remove the spool cap.
- Remove the empty spool.
- Insert a new pre-wound spool of the correct line diameter (typically 0.05 inches) into the trimmer head, ensuring the line feeds through the eyelets.
- Replace the spool cap, ensuring it locks securely into place.
