This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new brewer. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

Important Safety Information
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
Setup
Unpacking
- Carefully remove the brewer from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials, including any tape and labels.
- Place the brewer on a clean, flat, stable surface.
First Use & Cleaning
- Remove the water reservoir lid and the water reservoir.
- Rinse the water reservoir and lid with fresh water.
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
- Place the water reservoir back onto the brewer, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Plug the brewer into a grounded outlet.
- The brewer will automatically power on. Follow the on-screen instructions for the initial setup, including language selection.
- Perform a cleansing brew: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Do not insert a K-Cup pod. Select a large brew size (e.g., 10 oz) and press the brew button. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process once more.
Operating Instructions
Brewing a Beverage
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh water.
- Place a mug on the drip tray.
- Lift the brewer handle. The K-Cup pod holder will open.
- Insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder. Ensure it is seated firmly.
- Lower the brewer handle completely to close the K-Cup pod holder.
- The touch display will show available brew sizes. Select your desired brew size.
- Press the brew button (usually a flashing button or on-screen prompt) to start brewing.
- The brewer will dispense the beverage. Once brewing is complete, carefully lift the handle, remove and discard the used K-Cup pod.
Adjusting Settings
The 2-inch touch display allows you to customize various settings:
- Brew Strength: Some K-Cup pods and brew sizes may offer a strong brew option.
- Auto On/Off: Set the brewer to automatically turn on or off at specific times.
- High Altitude Setting: Adjust for optimal brewing at higher elevations.
- Water Filter Reminder: Set reminders for replacing the water filter.
Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed navigation and adjustment of these settings.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Brewer
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the brewer with a damp, soapy cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Drip Tray: The drip tray can accumulate liquid. Remove it, empty, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- K-Cup Pod Holder: The K-Cup pod holder can be removed for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse. Ensure the exit needle is clear of debris.
- Water Reservoir: Clean the water reservoir and lid periodically with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Descaling
Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer, affecting performance. Descaling should be performed every 3-6 months, or when the descaling indicator appears on the display.
- Turn off the brewer and unplug it.
- Empty the water reservoir and remove the water filter (if installed).
- Pour an entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the water reservoir.
- Fill the empty descaling solution bottle with water and pour it into the reservoir.
- Plug the brewer back in and turn it on.
- Place a large mug on the drip tray.
- Perform a cleansing brew without a K-Cup pod. Repeat this process until the "Add Water" light illuminates.
- Let the brewer stand for at least 30 minutes while still on.
- After 30 minutes, empty and rinse the water reservoir.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
- Perform at least 12 cleansing brews with fresh water to remove any residual descaling solution.
Troubleshooting
