Important Safety Information

Setup

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the brewer from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape and labels.
  3. Place the brewer on a clean, flat, stable surface.

First Use & Cleaning

  1. Remove the water reservoir lid and the water reservoir.
  2. Rinse the water reservoir and lid with fresh water.
  3. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
  4. Place the water reservoir back onto the brewer, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Plug the brewer into a grounded outlet.
  6. The brewer will automatically power on. Follow the on-screen instructions for the initial setup, including language selection.
  7. Perform a cleansing brew: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Do not insert a K-Cup pod. Select a large brew size (e.g., 10 oz) and press the brew button. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process once more.

Operating Instructions

Brewing a Beverage

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh water.
  2. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  3. Lift the brewer handle. The K-Cup pod holder will open.
  4. Insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder. Ensure it is seated firmly.
  5. Lower the brewer handle completely to close the K-Cup pod holder.
  6. The touch display will show available brew sizes. Select your desired brew size.
  7. Press the brew button (usually a flashing button or on-screen prompt) to start brewing.
  8. The brewer will dispense the beverage. Once brewing is complete, carefully lift the handle, remove and discard the used K-Cup pod.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Brewer

Descaling

Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer, affecting performance. Descaling should be performed every 3-6 months, or when the descaling indicator appears on the display.

  1. Turn off the brewer and unplug it.
  2. Empty the water reservoir and remove the water filter (if installed).
  3. Pour an entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the water reservoir.
  4. Fill the empty descaling solution bottle with water and pour it into the reservoir.
  5. Plug the brewer back in and turn it on.
  6. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  7. Perform a cleansing brew without a K-Cup pod. Repeat this process until the "Add Water" light illuminates.
  8. Let the brewer stand for at least 30 minutes while still on.
  9. After 30 minutes, empty and rinse the water reservoir.
  10. Fill the reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
  11. Perform at least 12 cleansing brews with fresh water to remove any residual descaling solution.

Troubleshooting
