Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully to install the stacking kit and stack your appliances:

1. Prepare the Washer: Ensure your front-load washer is firmly placed on a stable, even, and solid floor. Refer to your washer's owner's manual for proper placement and leveling.
2. Attach Side Brackets:
   • Peel the protective paper off the adhesive tape located on the underside of one side bracket.
   • Firmly attach this side bracket to one side of the washer's top plate. Ensure it is aligned correctly.
   • Repeat this process for the second side bracket on the opposite side of the washer's top plate.
   • Secure each side bracket to the washer by inserting a self-tapping screw through the designated hole on the back of the bracket. If no existing holes are present, the self-tapping screws will create them. Increase the torque on the screwdriver at first, then lower it to avoid stripping the screw while tightening.
3. Place the Dryer: With the assistance of at least one other person, carefully lift the dryer and place it on top of the washer. Ensure the dryer's feet fit securely into the designated slots on the installed side brackets. Slide the dryer slowly backwards until it rests against the stopper of the kit. Be careful not to pinch fingers between the washer and dryer.
4. Install Front Bracket: Insert the front stacking kit (the shorter metal piece) into the front of the side stacking brackets. Push it back until it aligns with the stoppers of the side stacking kit.
5. Secure Front Bracket: Screw the front bracket into place on both sides using the remaining self-tapping screws.

Operation

Once the Electrolux stacking kit is correctly installed, your washer and dryer can be operated as usual. The kit provides a stable platform for the dryer, allowing for efficient use of space. Always ensure both appliances are properly loaded and balanced before starting a cycle to minimize vibration.

Maintenance
