Setup Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly.

  1. Assemble the Pole Sections: Connect the main pole sections according to the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
  2. Attach the Backboard: Securely attach the backboard to the upper pole section using the provided screws and brackets. Ensure the backboard is firmly fixed and does not wobble.
  3. Install the Rim and Net: Attach the rim to the backboard using the designated hardware. Then, attach the nylon net to the rim.
  4. Connect Pole to Base: Insert the assembled pole into the base. Ensure it is properly seated and secured.
  5. Fill the Base for Stability: The base must be filled with either water or sand for stability. The base can hold approximately 55 lbs of water or 66 lbs of sand. This step is crucial to prevent the hoop from tipping over during use.
  6. Adjust Height: Use the height adjustment mechanism on the pole to set the desired height between 5.8 feet and 6.8 feet. Ensure the adjustment knobs are securely tightened after setting the height.

Operating Instructions

  1. Height Adjustment: To change the hoop height, loosen the adjustment knobs on the pole, slide the upper pole section to the desired height (between 5.8 ft and 6.8 ft), and then securely tighten the knobs.
  2. Portability: The base is equipped with two built-in transport wheels. To move the hoop, tilt the unit slightly and roll it to your desired location. Ensure the base is stable before playing.
