Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your VIPERTEK VTS-195 device:

1. Stun Electrodes: Metal prongs at the front for stun function.
2. LED Flashlight: Located at the front, provides illumination.
3. Function Switch: Slide switch on the side to select OFF, Flashlight, or Stun Gun mode.
4. Activation Button: Press to activate the selected function (flashlight or stun).
5. Safety Switch (Rear): ON/OFF switch at the base of the device for overall power control.
6. USB Charging Port: Located at the base, next to the safety switch.
7. Wrist Strap: Attached to the base for secure handling.

Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your VIPERTEK VTS-195. This typically takes 10-12 hours for the initial charge. Subsequent charges usually take 1-2 hours.

1. Ensure the main safety switch at the base of the device is in the "OFF" position.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB charging port at the base of the stun gun.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
4. A red indicator light will illuminate during charging. This light will turn off or change color (depending on the model) when charging is complete.
5. Disconnect the charging cable once fully charged.

Operating Instructions

The VIPERTEK VTS-195 features a multi-stage activation system for safety.

1. Powering On/Off (Main Safety Switch)

Locate the small slide switch at the very bottom of the device. Slide it to the "ON" position to enable the device's functions. Slide it to "OFF" to completely power down the device and prevent accidental activation.

2. Selecting Function (Function Switch)

Once the main safety switch is "ON", use the larger slide switch on the side of the device to select your desired function:

• Middle Position: Device is in standby mode (neither flashlight nor stun gun is active).
• Forward Position (towards flashlight head): Activates the LED flashlight mode.
• Rearward Position (towards base): Activates the stun gun mode.

3. Activating Flashlight

1. Ensure the main safety switch at the base is "ON".
2. Slide the function switch to the "Flashlight" position (forward).
3. Press and hold the circular activation button on the side of the device to turn on the flashlight. Release to turn off.

4. Activating Stun Gun

CAUTION: Only activate the stun gun when necessary and in a safe direction. The stun function will not operate if the flashlight is active.

1. Ensure the main safety switch at the base is "ON".
2. Slide the function switch to the "Stun Gun" position (rearward). The flashlight will automatically turn off if it was on.
3. Press and hold the circular activation button on the side of the device to activate the stun function. You will hear a loud crackling sound and see an electrical arc between the electrodes.
4. Release the button to stop the stun function.

Maintenance

Charging

To maintain optimal battery life, it is recommended to charge the device for 1-2 hours monthly, even if not used frequently. Avoid overcharging, as this can shorten battery lifespan.

Cleaning

Wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the main safety switch is in the "OFF" position during storage.
