Setup and Preparation

Proper preparation of the surface is crucial for optimal results. Follow these steps before applying the paint:

1. Surface Cleaning: Ensure the surface to be painted is completely free of dust, dry, and grease-free. If necessary, use a silicone remover to thoroughly clean the area.
2. Aerosol Preparation: Before each use, shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 2 minutes. You should hear the mixing ball rattling inside the can, indicating proper mixing of the paint.

Operating Instructions

Once the surface is prepared, proceed with the paint application:

1. Initial Spray: Lightly spray the object with the base coat and allow it to dry. This initial layer helps with adhesion and provides a uniform base.
2. Applying Base Coat: After the initial spray has dried, apply 1-2 coats of the base coat until the surface is well covered. Apply in thin, even layers to avoid drips and ensure smooth coverage.
3. Drying Base Coat: After the last color application, allow the base coat to dry completely. This typically takes approximately 60 minutes, but drying time can vary significantly depending on the object's temperature and the ambient temperature. Once dry, the painted surface will appear completely matte.
4. Applying Clear Coat: After the base coat is fully dry, apply a TRISTARcolor 1 or 2 component clear coat over the base coat. Follow the instructions provided with the clear coat product. (Note: Clear coat is not included with this base coat spray can.)

A 400 ml can is sufficient to cover approximately 1.3 m².

• Disposal: Dispose of empty cans according to local regulations for aerosol products. Do not puncture or incinerate cans.
