The Furby Connect friend is an interactive electronic pet designed to provide engaging play experiences. It features a light-up antenna, expressive eyes with over 150 animations, and the ability to communicate in Furbish. This manual provides instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance of your Furby Connect.

Setup

Battery Installation

Your Furby Connect requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included). To install batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of your Furby Connect.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

First Use

After installing batteries, your Furby Connect will activate. It may begin speaking in Furbish or English. Interact with it by petting or gently shaking it to begin your adventure.

Operating Your Furby Connect

Interaction Methods

Your Furby Connect responds to various physical interactions:

• Petting: Gently stroke Furby's head or back to elicit responses.
• Tickling: Tickle Furby's belly to hear giggles and other reactions.
• Shaking: Gently shake Furby to see how it reacts.
• Antenna Movement: Move Furby's antenna like a joystick for unique interactions.
• Turning Upside Down: Observe Furby's reaction when inverted.

Eye Animations and Furbish Language

Furby Connect's colorful eyes display over 150 animations, reflecting its mood and what it wants. It communicates using a unique language called Furbish, along with English phrases. Over time, Furby will learn new phrases and update its content when connected to the Furby Connect World app.

App Connectivity: Furby Connect World

Enhance your Furby Connect experience by connecting it to the Furby Connect World app (available for download on compatible devices). The app unlocks additional features and content:

• Discover Surprises: Explore new music, videos, and interactive content within the app.
• Feed Furby: Virtually feed your Furby Connect using the app.
• Raise Virtual Furblings: Hatch and raise virtual Furblings within the app.
• Content Updates: Furby Connect receives updates and new content by connecting to the app.

Sleep Mode

When Furby Connect needs rest, simply place the included sleep mask over its eyes. This will put Furby to sleep. To wake Furby up, remove the sleep mask, and it will be ready for more fun.

Maintenance

To keep your Furby Connect in optimal condition:

• Keep Furby Connect clean by gently wiping with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not immerse Furby Connect in water or any liquids.
• Avoid exposing Furby Connect to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
