Setup Instructions

1. Mounting the Scope:

   Attach the provided 2-piece mounts to your air rifle's Weaver-style rail. Ensure the mounts are securely fastened to the rail and then place the scope into the rings. Tighten the ring screws evenly to secure the scope without over-tightening, which can damage the scope tube. Ensure the reticle is level before final tightening.

2. Eye Relief Adjustment:

   With the scope mounted, position your head comfortably behind the scope to achieve a full, clear field of view. Adjust the scope's position forward or backward in the mounts until the optimal eye relief is found. This prevents the "black ring" effect around the image.
3. Focusing the Reticle:

   Point the scope at a plain, bright background (like the sky). Look through the scope and adjust the eyepiece (diopter adjustment) until the reticle appears sharp and clear. This adjustment is for your eye, not for the target.

Operating Instructions

1. Magnification:

   The Beeman 5007 features a fixed 4x magnification. This means objects viewed through the scope will appear four times closer than with the naked eye. There is no adjustment for magnification on this model.
2. Windage and Elevation Adjustment:

   The scope is equipped with external turret knobs for adjusting windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) impact points. Each click of the turret adjusts the point of impact by 1/4 inch at 100 yards (or proportionally at other distances). Turn the elevation turret (top) to adjust vertical aim and the windage turret (side) to adjust horizontal aim. Follow standard zeroing procedures for your air rifle.

3. Parallax Adjustment:

   The parallax is adjustable from 10 yards to infinity. To adjust parallax, rotate the objective lens housing until the target and the reticle appear to be in the same focal plane, eliminating any apparent movement of the reticle relative to the target when you move your eye slightly.

Maintenance

• Cleaning Lenses:

  Use a soft lens brush to remove any loose dust or debris from the lenses. Then, use a clean microfiber lens cloth with a small amount of lens cleaning solution to gently wipe the lens surfaces. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

• Cleaning Body:

  Wipe the exterior of the scope with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or fingerprints. Do not use solvents that could damage the finish.

• Storage:

  Store the scope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use lens caps when not in use to protect the lenses from dust and scratches.
• Mounting Screws:

  Periodically check the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight. Recoil can sometimes loosen screws over time.

Troubleshooting

• Blurry Image:

  Ensure the reticle is properly focused for your eye (diopter adjustment). Adjust the parallax for the specific distance of your target. Clean the lenses if they are dirty.
• Scope Not Holding Zero:

  Check that the scope mounts are securely tightened to both the rifle rail and the scope tube. Loose mounts are a common cause of zero shift. Ensure the rifle itself is stable and consistent.

• No Image or Dark Image:

  Remove lens caps. Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the objective lens or behind the eyepiece. Check lighting conditions.
