Setup

Battery Installation:

Charcoal Pack Placement:
Place the included activated charcoal pack into its designated slot within the unit, typically near the fan or air intake. This pack is crucial for odor absorption.
Initial Power On:
Locate the On/Off switch on the unit. Slide the switch to the "On" position. The fan should begin to operate quietly.

Operating Instructions

Once set up, the Camco Fridge Airator is designed for continuous operation within your refrigerator. Its primary function is to circulate air, which helps to equalize temperatures and reduce cold spots, particularly in absorption-style RV refrigerators. The activated charcoal pack simultaneously works to neutralize odors.

Placement: Place the Airator on a flat surface inside your RV or camper refrigerator. Ensure it is not obstructed by food items or shelves to allow for optimal airflow.
Continuous Operation: For best results, keep the unit switched "On" while the refrigerator is in use. The on/off switch allows you to turn it off when the RV is stored or the fridge is not in operation, conserving battery life.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:
When the fan's performance diminishes or stops, it is time to replace the D batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Battery life can vary depending on battery type and usage.
Charcoal Pack Replacement:
The activated charcoal pack should be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months, or when you notice odors returning. Replacement packs are available from Camco retailers.
Cleaning:
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the unit in water. Ensure the fan grill is free from dust or debris to maintain optimal airflow.

Troubleshooting
