1. Important Safety Information

• Warning: The blade is sharp. Do not touch or attempt to remove debris from the blade while the engine is running.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Assembly

The mower comes largely pre-assembled. Unfold the handle by releasing the quick-release levers on the sides. Ensure the handle locks securely into place at your desired height.

3.2 Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment cover located on top of the mower. Insert a fully charged EGO Power+ ARC Lithium™ battery into the compartment until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.

3.3 Adjusting Cutting Height

The mower features a single-point height adjustment lever. To change the cutting height, pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired position (1-7). Ensure the lever locks firmly into place before operation.

3.4 Attaching Grass Bag, Mulching, or Side Discharge

The mower supports 3-in-1 functionality. For bagging, lift the rear discharge flap and hook the grass bag onto the designated points. For mulching, ensure the mulching plug is inserted. For side discharge, attach the side discharge chute to the side opening.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Mower

To start the mower, ensure the battery is installed and the safety key is inserted. Press and hold the safety button, then pull the bail lever towards the handle. The mower will start. Release the safety button once the mower is running.

4.2 Mowing Techniques

For best results, mow when the grass is dry. Overlap cutting swaths slightly to ensure even coverage. Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time. For thick or tall grass, consider making two passes or using a higher cutting height.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Blade Care

Regularly inspect the mower blade for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn. Sharpen or replace the blade as needed. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance on the blade.

5.2 Cleaning

After each use, clean the mower deck and discharge chute to prevent grass buildup, which can affect performance. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use high-pressure water or immerse the mower in water.

5.3 Storage

For compact storage, the EGO Power+ LM2000-S can be folded upright. Ensure the battery is removed before storing. Store the mower in a dry, secure location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If the mower fails to start or operate correctly, check the following:

• Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly seated in the compartment.
• Verify the safety key is fully inserted.
• Check for any obstructions around the blade or in the discharge chute.
• Confirm the handle is fully extended and locked into the operating position.
