Important Safety Instructions

- DO NOT use this heater outdoors or in wet locations like bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations.
- DO NOT run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 meters) of the front, top, and sides of the heater.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

The Lasko CT22539 Ceramic Tower Heater features a digital control panel for easy operation.
Control Panel Functions

- Power Button (⏻): Press once to turn the heater ON or OFF.
- Thermostat Button (☼): Press to adjust the desired temperature. The display will show the set temperature. Use the ☼ button to cycle through temperature settings (e.g., 65°F, 70°F, 75°F, 80°F, 85°F). The heater will cycle ON and OFF to maintain the set temperature.
- Mode Button (★): Press to select between High Heat (Hi) and Low Heat (Lo) settings. The display will indicate the selected mode.
- Timer Button (⏱): Press to activate the auto-off timer. Cycle through 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The heater will automatically turn off after the selected time.
- Oscillation Button (↻): Press to activate or deactivate the oscillation function, which distributes heat across a wider area.
Safety Features
- Overheat Protection: This heater is equipped with a safety feature that automatically turns the unit off if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the heater, wait 10 minutes for it to cool down, and then plug it back in.
- Tip-Over Switch: The heater will automatically turn off if it is accidentally tipped over. Place the heater upright on a firm, level surface to resume operation.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use cleaning sprays or chemicals. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in its original carton in a cool, dry place.
