Troubleshooting
Low Suction Power
- Check Dirt Bowl: Ensure the dirt bowl is not full. Empty it if necessary.
- Clean Filter: A clogged filter can reduce suction. Remove and clean the filter as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.
- Check for Blockages: Inspect the nozzle and attachments for any blockages that might be impeding airflow.
Short Battery Life
- Full Charge: Ensure the vacuum is fully charged before use. A full charge takes approximately 13.5 hours.
- Battery Age: Over time, rechargeable batteries may lose capacity. If the battery life significantly decreases, it may be due to the age of the battery. Note that replacement batteries for this specific model may be difficult to find, and unit replacement might be necessary.
Unusual Noise
- Check for Obstructions: Foreign objects caught in the nozzle or motor can cause unusual noises. Turn off the vacuum and inspect for any obstructions.
- Normal Operation: Handheld vacuums produce noise during operation. The HHVI320JR02 typically operates between 70-83 dB.
