Setup

1. Attaching the Anti-vibration Handle

  1. Locate the threaded opening on the side of the tool.
  2. Screw the anti-vibration handle into this opening until it is securely fastened.
  3. Ensure the handle is firm and does not wobble before use.

2. Changing Accessories (AutoClic System)

The PMF 350 CES features the AutoClic system for quick and tool-free accessory changes.

  1. Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Push the AutoClic lever located on the tool head to release the current accessory.
  3. Remove the accessory.
  4. Align the new accessory with the Starlock interface on the tool head.
  5. Push the accessory firmly onto the interface until the AutoClic lever clicks into place, securing the accessory.
  6. Gently pull on the accessory to confirm it is securely locked.

3. Attaching the Depth Stop

The 4-level depth stop allows for precise control over cutting depth.

  1. With an accessory attached, slide the depth stop over the accessory and onto the tool head.
  2. Adjust the depth stop to the desired level by rotating it.
  3. Ensure it is firmly seated before operation.

4. Connecting Dust Extraction

For cleaner operation, especially during sanding, attach the dust extraction adapter.

  1. Attach the dust extraction adapter to the tool.
  2. Connect a suitable vacuum cleaner hose to the adapter.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Plug the tool into a suitable power outlet (230V).
  2. Turn on the tool using the power switch.
  3. Adjust the oscillation speed using the variable speed dial, typically located near the handle. Higher speeds are generally for harder materials or faster removal, lower speeds for precision or softer materials.
  4. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, using the main grip and the anti-vibration handle.
  5. Apply gentle, consistent pressure. Let the tool do the work.
  6. The 180-degree light band illuminates the work area for improved visibility.

Specific Applications

Sanding

Attach the delta sanding plate and a suitable sanding sheet. Use the dust extraction adapter for a cleaner work environment. Move the tool evenly over the surface, applying light pressure.

Cutting/Plunge Cutting

Select the appropriate saw blade (wood, metal, or universal). For plunge cuts, position the blade at the desired starting point and slowly push the tool into the material. For straight cuts, guide the tool along a marked line or straight edge.

Scraping

Attach a scraping blade. This function is ideal for removing old paint, adhesive, or mortar. Hold the tool at a shallow angle to the surface and apply steady pressure.
