3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial NVR Setup

1. Connect NVR to Power: Plug the NVR power adapter into the NVR and a power outlet.
2. Connect NVR to Monitor: Use the included HDMI cable to connect the NVR to a monitor or TV.
3. Connect NVR to Router (Optional for Remote Access): For remote viewing and app functionality, connect the NVR to your router using the provided Ethernet cable.
4. Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the NVR's USB ports for navigation.

3.2 Camera Installation & Pairing

1. Power on Cameras: Connect each camera to its respective power adapter and plug into a power outlet. The cameras are plug-in only and do not operate on battery.
2. Automatic Pairing: The cameras will automatically connect wirelessly to the NVR via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Wait for the auto-pairing and connection to the NVR.
3. Optimal Placement: Position cameras within effective Wi-Fi range of the NVR. The system supports Wi-Fi 6 for enhanced range and stability.

3.3 ZOSI Smart App Setup

1. Download App: Download the 'ZOSI Smart App' from your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android).
2. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR system using its Cloud ID.
3. Live View & Playback: Once added, you can access live video feeds, review recordings, and manage settings remotely from your smartphone.

4.1 Crystal-Clear 2K Video Quality

The 3MP resolution cameras capture sharp and detailed video footage, ensuring clear views of your property day and night. This high-definition quality aids in identifying important details.

4.2 Dual Night Vision Modes

The cameras offer two night vision modes:

• Full-Color Night Vision: Utilizes built-in warm lights to provide full-color footage in low-light conditions.
• Infrared B&W Night Vision: Provides clear black and white footage in total darkness, with a range of up to 80 feet.

4.3 Smart Human Detection & Deterrence

Advanced AI analytics accurately distinguish human shapes, reducing false alerts from pets or other moving objects. When human motion is detected, the system can automatically trigger bright spotlights and a loud siren to deter potential threats. Instant mobile alerts are sent to your smartphone.

4.4 Real-Time Two-Way Audio

With a built-in high-sensitivity microphone and speaker, you can engage in real-time two-way communication through the camera. This allows you to speak with visitors or warn intruders remotely via the ZOSI Smart App.

4.5 24/7 Local Recording with 2TB HDD

The 8-channel NVR comes with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive, enabling continuous 24/7 recording from up to 8 cameras simultaneously. This provides reliable local storage without any monthly fees. The system automatically overwrites older footage when the hard drive is full, or you can back up important clips via USB.

  • Verify that the camera is still paired with the NVR. Re-pair if needed according to the quick start guide.
• Poor Signal/Intermittent Connection:
  • Reduce obstacles (walls, large metal objects) between the camera and NVR.
  • Ensure the NVR is connected to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  • Minimize interference from other 2.4GHz devices.
• No Remote Access:
  • Confirm the NVR is connected to your router via Ethernet cable and has internet access.
  • Check your router's internet connection.

• No Recording:
  • Verify the 2TB hard drive is correctly installed and recognized by the NVR.
