The Honeywell HL series portable air conditioner combines 3-in-1 technology into one sleek body, cooling and dehumidifying areas up to 400-550 square feet. It features an auto-evaporation system, a reliable dehumidifying function as well as a traditional three speed fan only function delivering optimum cooling, dehumidification and fresh ventilation. The full-function remote control allows you to operate each feature from across the room. Unlike a fixed air conditioner unit, the Honeywell Portable Air Conditioner requires no permanent installation and the smooth-gliding caster wheels provide easy mobility from room to room. A special sleep mode setting allows you to control the temperature for comfort during the night. This portable air conditioner comes with everything needed including a flexible exhaust hose and an easy-to-install window venting kit. The window vent can be removed when the unit is not in use.

Setup and Installation

The Honeywell Portable Air Conditioner comes with a full set window kit for quick and easy installation in both vertical and horizontal windows. The maximum hose length is 4 feet.

Installation Steps:

  1. Attach the exhaust hose to the back of the air conditioner unit.
  2. Adjust the window bracket kit to fit your window opening.
  3. Insert the plastic pins to secure the window bracket.
  4. Snap the exhaust hose adapter onto the window bracket.
  5. Position the assembled window kit and hose into the window opening, ensuring a secure fit to prevent air leakage.

Filter Cleaning:

Dehumidifier Drainage:

The auto-evaporation system typically eliminates the need to empty a water bucket. However, in areas with high humidity, a continuous drain option is available. A drain tube is included for this purpose.
