4.1. Proper Cuff Placement
Accurate measurement depends on correct cuff placement. Follow these steps:
- Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.
- Slide the cuff onto your bare upper left arm, with the air tube running down the center of your arm.
- Ensure the bottom edge of the cuff is approximately 1-2 cm (0.5-1 inch) above your elbow joint.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, ensuring it is not too tight or too loose. You should be able to insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.

The cuff is designed to fit arm circumferences between 22-30 cm (8.6-11.8 inches).

Step 1: Wrap the cuff securely around the upper arm.

Step 2: The cuff automatically inflates during the measurement process.

Step 3: The blood pressure and pulse rate readings are displayed on the monitor.
4.2. Taking a Measurement
- Once the cuff is correctly placed and connected, press the START/STOP button.
- The cuff will automatically inflate to a comfortable level. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- The monitor will display your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
- If an irregular heartbeat is detected, an indicator will appear on the display.
- The measurement will automatically be stored in the device's memory.
- To turn off the monitor, press the START/STOP button again, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.

The backlit display ensures easy readability of your blood pressure and pulse rate results.
