4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Proper Cuff Placement
Correct cuff placement is essential for accurate readings. The adjustable wrist cuff fits wrist circumferences from 4.92 to 8.27 inches (12.5 to 21 cm).
- Ensure your wrist is bare; remove any clothing or jewelry.
- Wrap the cuff on your left wrist with the monitor facing up and your palm open.
- Position the cuff approximately 0.2-0.4 inches (0.5-1 cm) below your wrist joint.
- Fasten the cuff snugly but not too tightly. There should be enough space to insert one finger between the cuff and your wrist.

4.2 Measurement Procedure
Follow these steps to take a blood pressure measurement:
- Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported.
- Place your wrist at the same level as your heart. Relax and remain still.
- Press the 'START' button. The cuff will automatically inflate and then slowly deflate.
- Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
- Once the measurement is complete, your Systolic pressure (SYS), Diastolic pressure (DIA), and Pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- The device will automatically store the reading in its memory.
4.3 Understanding Your Readings
The display shows three main values:
- SYS (Systolic Pressure): The top number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- DIA (Diastolic Pressure): The bottom number, indicating the pressure in your arteries between beats.
- Pulse /min: Your heart rate, or the number of times your heart beats per minute.
An 'Irregular Heart Beat Symbol' will appear if an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement. Consult your doctor if this symbol appears frequently.

4.4 Memory Function
The monitor stores up to 60 readings with a time and date stamp. It also displays the average of the last three consecutive records for reference.
- To view stored readings, press the 'M' button when the device is off. Each press will cycle through the stored measurements.
- The average of the last three readings will be displayed first.
- To clear the memory, consult the specific instructions in the full manual, as this process can vary.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your blood pressure monitor:
- Wipe the monitor and cuff gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- If necessary, use a cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild detergent, then wipe dry immediately.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
5.2 Storage
Store the device in its protective carrying case when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not turn on | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Replace batteries with new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Error message (e.g., 'E') on display | Cuff not properly applied, movement during measurement, or device malfunction. | Reapply cuff correctly, remain still and silent during measurement. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Inaccurate or inconsistent readings | Improper cuff placement, incorrect body posture, talking during measurement, or recent physical activity. | Ensure correct cuff placement (0.2-0.4 inches below wrist joint), sit still with wrist at heart level, avoid talking. Wait 5 minutes after activity before measuring. |
| Date/Time resets after battery change | This is normal behavior for the device. | Reset the date and time manually after each battery replacement as described in Section 3.2. |
