Operating Instructions

1. Creating a Custom Bag from a Roll

  1. Pull the bag material to the desired length.
  2. Close the lid and slide the cutter bar across to create a clean cut.
  3. Place one end of the cut material into the vacuum channel, ensuring it is flat and smooth.
  4. Close the lid and press the 'Seal' button. The indicator light will show when sealing is complete.

2. Vacuum Sealing with Bags

  1. Place the food item into a FoodSaver bag, leaving at least 3 inches of space from the top seal area.
  2. Open the lid and place the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel. Ensure the bag is flat and smooth, without wrinkles.
  3. Close the lid firmly until it locks into place.
  4. Select the appropriate mode: 'Dry' for dry foods or 'Moist' for moist/juicy foods.
  5. Press the 'Vacuum' button. The machine will automatically remove air and then seal the bag. The indicator light will show progress.
  6. Once the process is complete, the lid will automatically release. Remove your sealed bag.

3. Using the Handheld Vacuum Sealer

The handheld vacuum sealer is ideal for FoodSaver zipper bags and containers.

  1. Ensure the handheld sealer is properly connected to the accessory port on the main unit.
  2. Place the handheld sealer firmly over the vacuum valve on the zipper bag or container.
  3. Press the 'Accessory' button (or similar button if available) on the main unit. The handheld sealer will remove air.
  4. The vacuum process will stop automatically when complete.
