Before freezing temperatures, disconnect the programmer from the tap and misting system. Remove batteries. Store the unit in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing water.
8. Troubleshooting
- No mist/water flow:
- Check if the tap is fully open.
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
- Verify that the frequency and duration dials are set to active positions (not 'OFF' or '∞' if not desired).
- Check for blockages in the misting system or programmer's inlet/outlet.
- Leaks from connections:
- Ensure all connections are hand-tightened securely.
- Check for damaged washers or O-rings and replace if necessary.
- Incorrect timing:
- Re-check the settings on both the Frequency and Duration dials.
- Replace batteries if they are old or low, as this can affect timing accuracy.
