Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or damage when using the appliance, follow basic safety precautions, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the cooktop.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

Installation
The True Induction TI-1B cooktop is designed for both built-in countertop installation and portable use.
Built-In Installation
For built-in installation, the countertop cutout dimensions are 11 3/8 inches (W) x 13 3/4 inches (L). Ensure adequate clearance around the unit as specified in the diagram below. It is crucial to read the full installation manual (if provided separately) and verify dimensions before making any cuts to your countertop.

Portable Use
For portable use, place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation.
Power Connection
The cooktop requires a standard 110V electrical outlet.

Compatible Cookware
Induction cooktops require cookware with a magnetic base. To check if your cookware is compatible, simply hold a magnet to the bottom of the pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is compatible.
- Optimal Cookware: Flat bottom, diameter between 4.5 to 10 inches (11.4 cm to 25.4 cm).
- Compatible Materials: Stainless steel, cast iron, enamel-coated steel.
- Incompatible Materials: Aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic, or non-magnetic stainless steel.

Basic Operation
- Power On: Place compatible cookware on the cooking zone. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
- Select Mode: Choose between Power (Heat) or Temperature (Temp) mode.
- Power Mode: Adjust heating intensity using the + and - buttons. The cooktop offers 10 power levels.
- Temperature Mode: Set a specific temperature using the + and - buttons. The cooktop will maintain the set temperature.
- Timer Function: Press the Timer button and use + and - to set the desired cooking time. The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
- Child Lock: Activate the Lock function to prevent accidental changes to settings during operation or when the unit is off.
- Power Off: Press the Power button to turn off the cooktop. The surface may remain warm for a short period after use.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooktop.
- Always unplug the cooktop and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the surface.
- Ensure no liquid enters the internal components of the cooktop. Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Clean the ventilation openings regularly to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
