1. Introduction

The Securifi DIY Zigbee Door/Window Sensor is a smart home device designed to enhance the security and automation of your living or working space. 3. Setup and Installation

The Securifi DIY Zigbee Door/Window Sensor is designed for simple, 1-minute setup with no complex wiring required. Follow these steps for installation:

1. Battery Installation: Ensure the CR123A battery is correctly inserted into the main sensor unit. If not already installed, open the battery compartment and insert the battery, observing the correct polarity.
2. Pairing with your Almond Router:
   • Place your Securifi Almond 3, Almond Plus, or Almond 2015 router into pairing mode. Refer to your router's manual for specific instructions on enabling Zigbee pairing.
   • On the Door/Window Sensor, locate the pairing button (often a small pinhole button). Press and hold this button for approximately 1-4 seconds until the LED indicator on the sensor flashes, indicating it is in pairing mode.
   • Once successfully paired, the LED on the sensor will stop flashing or turn solid, and the sensor will appear in your Almond app.
3. Mounting the Sensor:
   • Identify a suitable location on your door or window frame. The main sensor unit and the smaller magnet unit must be mounted adjacent to each other, typically on the frame and the moving part of the door/window.
   • Ensure the alignment marks on both units are facing each other and are within 1 cm (0.4 inches) when the door/window is closed.
