3. Setup
3.1 Assembling the Teleprompter
- Unfold the main teleprompter frame.
- Carefully insert the beamsplitter glass into its designated slot. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Attach the fabric hood to the top of the teleprompter frame, ensuring it covers the glass and prevents light leakage.
- Mount the teleprompter onto a standard video or photo tripod using the 1/4" screw thread at the base.

3.2 Inserting Your Device (Tablet/Smartphone)
- Extend the sliding tray at the front of the teleprompter.
- Place your tablet or smartphone onto the tray. For smartphones, use the provided smartphone adapter to secure the device.
- Ensure the device is centered and stable on the tray.

- Slide your DSLR or video camera onto the camera platform at the rear of the teleprompter.
- Secure the camera using the universal 1/4" screw. Adjust the camera's position to ensure the lens is centered with the beamsplitter glass.
- Adjust the teleprompter's angle using the exclusive angle adjusting system to achieve optimal framing and reflection clarity.

4.1 TeleprompterPAD App
The TeleprompterPAD app is essential for displaying your script. It is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac devices.
- Download: Search for "TeleprompterPAD" on the App Store (Apple), Play Store (Android), Mac App Store, or Microsoft Store. Alternatively, visit app.teleprompterpad.com.
- Import Scripts: The app allows you to import scripts from various cloud services (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive) and supports multiple file formats (PDF, DOCS, RTF, ODT, TXT).
- Features: Customize text size, speed, margins, and activate mirror mode. Use script position markers for quick navigation.

4.2 Using the Remote Control
The included Bluetooth remote control provides convenient operation of the TeleprompterPAD app.
- Pairing: Turn on the remote control. Open the TeleprompterPAD app and navigate to the settings to pair the remote via Bluetooth. Once paired, future connections will be automatic.
- Functions: The remote allows you to Play/Pause the script, Rewind/Fast Forward, adjust text speed, change font size, and control margins. Refer to the diagram below for specific button functions.

5. Maintenance

- Cleaning the Glass: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth with a specialized glass cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the beamsplitter glass.
- Storage: When not in use, disassemble the teleprompter and store it in the included carry bag. This protects the components, especially the glass, from dust and damage. The teleprompter folds up in approximately 4 seconds for easy transport.
