Product Overview
The Taurus Alpatec R750 is a versatile air cooler designed to provide cooling, ventilation, purification, and humidification. It features a compact tower design with a visible water tank and an intuitive control panel.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the air cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
- Filling the Water Tank:
- Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
- Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line (4-liter capacity).
- For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs in the freezer until frozen. Once frozen, add them directly into the water tank.
- Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (230V AC).
Operating Instructions
Control Panel and Remote Control:
The air cooler can be operated using the touch buttons on the control panel or the provided remote control. Ensure the remote control has working batteries (not included).
Functions:
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button (
) to turn the unit on or off. - Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed button (
) repeatedly to cycle through 3 ventilation speeds: Low, Medium, High. - Mode Selection: The unit offers 4 functions:
- Cooling (Humidification): Activates the water pump to circulate water and provide evaporative cooling. Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Ventilation: Operates as a fan without water circulation.
- Purification: Utilizes the dust filter to clean the air.
- Humidification: Adds moisture to the air.
Refer to the control panel icons for specific mode selection (e.g., water droplet for cooling/humidification, fan for ventilation).
- Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button (
) to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical oscillation of the air outlet grille, distributing air more widely. - Timer Function: Press the Timer button (
) repeatedly to set the operating time from 0.5 hours up to 7.5 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Dust Filter:
- Locate the dust filter at the rear of the unit.
- Carefully remove the filter.
- Wash the filter under running water to remove accumulated dust. A soft brush can be used for stubborn dirt.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Clean the filter at least once a month, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Cleaning the Water Tank:
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- To prevent mold and mildew, ensure the tank is dry before storing the unit or if it will not be used for an extended period.
- Exterior Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the air cooler with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the plastic surfaces.
