4. Setup

4.1 Installing Batteries

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the monitor.
  2. Insert the 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2 Connecting the Arm Cuff

  • Insert the air plug of the arm cuff firmly into the air jack on the left side of the monitor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Proper Cuff Placement

Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings. The Easy Wrap ComFit Cuff is designed for simple application.

  1. Sit upright with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Place the cuff on your left upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm (0.5-1 inch) above your elbow. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
  3. Ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight. The indicator on the cuff helps confirm correct placement.
  4. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.

5.2 Taking a Measurement

  1. Select User 1 or User 2 using the user selection switch if multiple users are tracking readings.
  2. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
  3. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
  4. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will be displayed on the dual LCD screen.
